Afternoon Tea and Country Kitchen

A week of sunshine and showers which adds up to plenty of time to stitch. A few additions for the Afternoon Tea Collection:

Teacup Apron

Something about teacups and this vibrant fabric has made a very summery waist apron.

Teapot Angels

Our teapots all need an angel as these are so pretty hugging a blue teapot, keeping this delicious brew safe.

Not to be outdone another addition to the Country Kitchen Collection these delightful simple stitched designs onto a white waffle fabric encased in a wooden hop wrapped with gingham binding.

That is all for this week, off to mow the grass again! this weather of sunshine and showers convinced grows a couple of inches a day.

Parisian Collection

With all the rain this week and not being able to get into the garden I had no excuse but to start my Parisian Collection. Something magical about Paris, the Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysee, Notre Dame, hidden gems of boutiques in quaint Parisian streets.

Paris Pillow

Using the Eiffel tower as the A and this new fabric is just perfect for an idea

Not one to waste a scrap of fabric and adding an applique butterfly this beautiful clutch frame bag.

Then onto the jolly French chef aprons in classic black and red on crisp white fabric

Au Revoir for this week and back next week with a fun pillow for a family

Show and Tell Monday

I love making Bespoke creations, sitting down with a client, hearing their dream of a special gift or card, turning the dream into a reality and seeing their faces when the gift is finished.
This week has been no exception, although for a family friend,
I always add a bit of love to my creations.

A special gift for a lady who will be 90 in July.

What can you give a delightful 90 year old lady? I decided to make a rose patterned apron with complimenting check pockets. Brenda is active at her church, helping with the morning coffee and lunches, so felt this would suit a lady always ready with a smile.

Her card is machine embroidered with a butterfly and rose theme

Don't forget I can make most gifts or cards that are stitched,
just use the bespoke service on my website.

Two sites I would like to flag this week as well worth a visit:
