Roses, Linen and Lace

Love roses, linen and lace not to mention vintage style buttons and beads. As the look of my site has changed and I am going back to what I love, in particular PINK, had to think what could start off the new look incorporating roses, linen and lace, with a hint of lavender. Came up with a shabby chic pink lace cuff, my first one and very happy. These cuffs remind me of the Scarlet Pimpernel 'Sink Me' the costumes were so elegant and so much lace.



Lavender Lace Sachet

Using oatmeal linen, vintage lace trim, heart ribbon and resin roses, filled with lavender from Chateau de la Gabelle, smells delicious could be hidden in a drawer or on show on a dressing table.




Should have had a lot more makes to show but waiting for components to finish. What I should really do is plan ahead and make sure I have everything needed before I start.

    I've been visiting your blog for a long time and always associate you with pink, roses, and old style sophistication with a modern twist... I love the lace bags, so pretty :)

    Love the little linen lavender sachets, they look so pretty all together. It's very difficult to plan ahead as we are always so eager to get started as soon as we get an idea.

    I love the pretty cuffs, they would make a really stylish addition to an outfit. I can just imagine the heavenly scent of lavender too

      Thank you Ali, the smell is delicious my whole sewing room smells of lavender, can almost dream myself into being in these lavender fields

    I love the look of your blog - roses and vintage lace are some of my favourite things and I have been toying with making over my website too and going for a similar look. this weekend I also bought some fabric and stuff to make cuffs too - must be all part of the mindset!
