No crafting from me this week as managed to slice the top of my thumb off with a mandolin, so careful when slicing the veggies but not enough care taken when washing up, thumb bandaged so well and so huge to be useless and my right hand as well!!! So what have I been doing? reading, going through my journals of ideas just generally chillaxing, in some ways this down time has rejuvenated me to start afresh, have a few ideas whizzing round with a slight change of direction but no more... you will just have to wait and see as the story unfolds, like a butterfly emerging from the Chrysalis into I hope something wonderful.

Had to Google "Mandoline" - I didn't know they were called that! Hope you heal fast and get back to crafting soon!
ReplyDeleteOuch.... but I'm glad to hear that you are putting your time to good use, 'chillaxing' is a great word. Take care and I look forward to seeing what you do next.

Oops... hope that the finger recovers soon and you are back to crafting!
ReplyDeleteOh gosh, that sounds painful! I hope you heal quickly and are back to crafting soon! I can sympathize and won't even bother to tell you of all the times I've sliced something. Suffice it to say, my husband cringes anytime I use something sharp and often offers to do it for me! :) So you have my honest and understanding sympathy and I FEEL your pain!
ReplyDeleteErr What's a Mandoline? yes man alert lol but it sounds rather musical to me.
ReplyDeleteAnyway sorry to hear about your thumb hope its all better soon.
Ok i will google it but honestly i dont know.
Drew
