Halloween or All Saint's Eve

Celebrating the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain.

Normally children would be out trick or treating but doubt will happen this year.

Why not have your own trick or treat at home, hide sweet delights around the house, or garden if dry. Have fairy lights festooned and maybe some pumpkin banners and decorations.

My makes this week have been Halloween inspired and finding some beautiful fabric from Dash Haberdashery on Folksy to make into pumpkin bunting was a delight.

Spooky Tales and Earrings

Halloween is not far away, the days are drawing in, the leaves are turning to produce a wonderful Autumnal display. Not posted in a while gave myself a blogging holiday but nearing the end of September time to get back in the saddle.

My first time at this event but had to give a go, never quite sure how online fairs work but this one seems so easy to understand both form a seller and buyer point of view. I don't do difficult.

Now earrings all with sterling silver earwires. I love these designs by Sonia Showalter and being stitched they are so light to wear, no dragging down the earlobes in an unbecoming way.

My next event is a wedding fair in Catherington, Hampshire on the 8th November so back to the sewing machine conjuring up all manner of accessories to make the brides day perfect

Spooky, It's Halloween

Well not quite but getting into the spirit early:

Spooky Bow Ties

made in cotton fairy frost diamond black fabric, fastened with velcro and the pumpkin just had to be added for extra spookiness.

Halloween tag set, only 1 made so far hoping to make some more later this week along with some lolly stick rosettes, all will become clear....
