Welcome to Carolee Crafts an online individual boutique offering you a unique gift experience.
My name is Caroline and I spend my days making beautiful creations. Living in a small village called Lindford, in the Hampshire countryside. Sitting on the edge of the South Downs National Park.
I have always loved to create whether by thread, paper, wool and dabbled in ceramics a long time ago. I tend to use pastel colours and love woodland animal themes.
Coming from a creative family going back generations from a Mother who stitched blouses out of damaged silk parachutes, a Great, Great Aunt who lived in a Grace and Favour appartment at Hampton Court palace and stitched in a team of ladies for Queen Mary. A Great Great aunt who had her own millinery business in Bromley. Not forgetting my Father who came from a long line of builders. Designing, with my Mother’s suggestions beautiful houses that became homes.
All the items I sell have been made with care and attention to detail, finished to a high standard and each piece is quality controlled to ensure that you the customer are delighted with your purchase be it a gift for yourself or for someone special.
I offer a bespoke service for those hard to find gifts or cards, if you have an idea let me see if I can help you, there is no obligation.
Such a lovely bag - it is to pretty. Snazzy ornament too. A shame about the Directory, really though you would have lots of support. Like the material you have used. I am a fanatical house-hunter, and often think 'now is the time'. Then we look at everything we have done with our home and realise that to have a place with similar 'comforts' means starting again, re-designing and re-decorating, so have decided to stay put. Doesn't stop me checking out properties far and wide though. Hope you have a good week.
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by Jill, agree it is the starting from scratch bit I cannot be bothered with so like you staying put.
ReplyDeleteAgree shame about the directory crafters must be doing so well that they do not need extra publicity.
Those bags are really pretty.
ReplyDeleteI'm on the house hunt too, I need to downsize this time next year and will be able to go anywhere - I keep wondering if I'll find somewhere I like but then remind myself why it has to be done!
So I'm not the only one who looks at houses I'll never buy! Love the idea of living by the sea but especially on an island (my dream home would be in Greece). Love the hessian bags - the contrast between the hessian and lace makes them really special.
ReplyDeleteI really like the bags - strong but also very pretty. A really good idea. Hope you have a good week.
ReplyDeleteI didnt know about the directory! It must have been before I found you. I love the burlap bags they are so pretty x
ReplyDeleteWhat pretty little bags. Never tried hessian before. You have made them perfectly, and with the lace makes an extra special finish.
ReplyDeleteSometimes when the grass is green, you get there and it;s all been eaten!!
I also love the contrast of the hessian and lace and the lovely pastel florals too. I would love to have the opportunity to move somewhere even just a tiny bit nicer than here, but it's not going to happen for at least 25 odd years, and probably not even then unless we win the lottery and can give up our jobs.
ReplyDeleteyour bags are super! a lovely splash of summer and the flower embellishments are the perfect finishing touch :)
ReplyDeleteI can confirm that Wiltshire is a lovely place to live! I grew up in Sussex and Kent but Wiltshire is definitely home now :) x
Hi Carolyn.. The burlap bags are just adorable. I was looking around and saw the bee fabric sachets. Just toooo cute, but its hard to decide on favorites. I just love everything. I am glad to hear that Shiloh is doing so well:) He is growing up to be quite the handsome fella. Have a great week.
