A Family Day Out to Emsworth 12/02/2009

Having finally got rid of that white stuff, the sun came out so off we went for a trip down the coast to Emsworth, a small fishing village in Hampshire.

After a quick breakfast, Barney (the dog) decided that he was not going to be left behind, so took DH's shoes out of the hall cupboard, marched through the living room to his boudoir, to ensure that he had to be taken along with the shoes!!!

Had a lovely coffee and danish with a walk around the harbour, Barney was not impressed with the swans or ducks as they were being fed and not him. snuck in a pic of DH (Lee) and Barney, Lee is a bit shy of his photo being broadcast across the net!

Just to prove I have been working, of sorts, made a fabric printed stationery wallet with notelets, paper, envelopes and a bookmark. The print and main fabric comes from a Victorain CD Rom by Joanna Sheen of copyright free images etc. Her CD's are brilliant.

  1. Hi Caroline,

I can't believe you have had such wonderful weather down there, the snow is only now going today as it's raining. We've had the white stuff (lots of) for two weeks.

Glad you enjoyed your trip out.

  15. Oh how I wish we had open water. Everything here in Minnesota is still iced over.
