A Mother's Love

Mother's are so precious and what better way than to thank her for all she does on her special day. Sadly I no longer have a Mum to make for but loved to make her day special and still a day to remember her, as she is now my Angel Mum in a garden full of roses surrounded by her dogs.

Vintage backing paper and complimenting paper flower with a diamante centre. The bookmark is stitched onto felt and reads: A Mother's love knows no bounds, Thank You Mum

Crazy patchwork machine embroidered rose scented sachet with the words: Wishing you a Happy mother's Day with all my love. A lasting keepsake for Mum. 4 different patterns of fabric.

'Mum' Bunting, I love bunting and am thinking of ways to stitch for a variety of occasions from triangular, to hearts and even the French flag. Fun and easy to store and the plan is to add more throughout this coming year.

Crazy patchwork heart for Mum to keep long after Mothering Sunday has been and gone. Slightly smaller heart with an initial. Both scented with lavender

Well that is Mother's Day done and dusted now onto Easter, I am loving the themes this year and so much fun to create for each event

Letters into words

Phew! did not think I was going to make it. A gentleman emailed me after googling and finding my post on a forum thread last year! about letter cushions, he wanted them for his nephews birthday on the 22nd August. Agreed to do, ran out of stuffing ordered some more arrive hated the quality so had to unstuff another cushion I had made. It will be used but would be better suited for a cushion that has an inner pillow, hope that makes sense. Just hope my customer is happy with the result now.Not much else done due to a distraction that arrived last week, he has his own blog and will be updating later in the week.

Show and Tell Monday

Valentines Day

What a week, the snow has been dreadful but on the plus side being marooned in the house has meant more time for crafting, in this case Valentines Cards. Not got as many done as I would have liked the fairies have been distracted trying to catch snowflakes to add glitter to their creations.
Tags and Cards, already posted to my website, gifts and more cards to follow:

This was the picture from DH's music room on Monday morning, not much different now, as said in Coffee Chat could add Happy Christmas and make next years Christmas Cards.

Have a good week, off to get those fairies moving and to make some special Victorian style Cards.
