Summer Days and short nights

June and is summer finally here? I do hope so as find the long days and short nights suit me so much better, getting up early (5.00) walking the dog, the best time of the day.

I love this fabric, although bright for me something about strawberries and ice creams that brings back memories of those childhood days, when the days seemed so long and could be packed with so many adventures. Not to mention picnics on the beach, bliss.

Although hard to recapture some of those times as the roads and life are now so busy, does one good to kick back and chill even if in the garden. Listening to the birds singing, children giggling as they to make memories to be recalled when older.

Talking about memories I love the old VW camper vans as we used to call them Hippy Vans, painted glorious colours. This fabric reminded me of those long ago 60's summers:

Looking out the window with all the sunshine and showers think the lawn needs mowing, everything grows so quickly with this weather but still one of the best seasons of the year.
