Show and Tell Monday
Where has July gone and I don't seem to have got much done the last few weeks, suddenly action stations the latter part of last week and this weekend. Some of you from Facebook may already have seen these makes and I am really happy with the results, I seem to have got my passion for sewing pretty things back got distracted with other craft but have drawn a line under that and returned to what I love best and I feel confident doing.
My neighbour (Carole) and friend inherited a bolster cushion from her MIL but did not have a cover to suit her bedroom.
Carole also wanted a gift for her Aunt at the end of the month, she loves pigs, so an applique cushion to make her comfortable in her chair.
Megan (another friend) and Richard are getting married in September, along with all her invitations, order of service, place cards, favours etc she wanted a ring cushion and a garter.
Still cross stitching her gift from us but did get around to doing her a wedding card.
Just the flower baskets X 4, 5 bridesmaid wrist bags and a satin and lace horseshoe as a personal gift from me to go.
And finally the 'main man' doing well, still on the medication but at just over 14 years, has now got a new lease of life, with his favourite toy!:

Caroline, I hear ya. The time is a flying by. I can't believe how fast this year has gone. Now I'm going to have to say that your pig is too cute. I'm so glad that Barney is doing better, it is horrible to have a furry friend in pain. Mine is like a shadow and at 150 lbs (an English Mastiff) - a huge slobbering one at that! ReplyDeleteCaroline, you have been a very busy lady! Love all your work! And that 'main man' is a looker. So glad to hear that he is doing great. Thanks for the tip on the dried flowers for the do-it-yourself photo pendants. What a clever idea! I am going to add it to the list so that no one misses that idea!
